Gilberto is a Chartered Physiotherapist member, HCPC registered and member of UK acupuncture Society. His mission is to deliver an outstanding clinical assessment combined with modern rehabilitation key procedures to help you deal with your health concerns. Gilberto offers a range of solutions for different lifestyles using his expertise and knowledge. All treatments provided by him and his team follow internationally recognised quality standards and are covered by insurance.
Before devoting his work to Mobile Wellbeing, it all begun around the year 2000 when Gilberto opened his first health business before graduating in Physiotherapy. He served as a Massage therapist whose clients included professionals, giant corporations and private events performing quick Massage and Shiatsu services.
In 2009 Gilberto studied acupuncture in a post-graduation level course for 2 years. Years later he begun work in Physiotherapy departments for several hospitals and private clinics overseas before running his own practice clinic role specialising in neurological physiotherapy rehabilitation programs and pain management treatments.
Gilberto has arrived in Edinburgh for personal reasons after crossing the world working as an Acupuncturist resident in a 5 stars SPA cruise ships where collected several honourable mentions and Award prizes for OASIS SPA and MANDARA SPA.
Gilberto has also worked since 2015 with Social Health Care as a Care Coordinator for Elderly local community, Personal Assistant for patients with Spinal Cord Injury and is currently providing support to Adult individuals with learning disabilities for the Complex Care and Housing Support Dept. from City of Edinburgh Council.
In addition to being a Physiotherapist and Support Worker, Gilberto is passionate about human culture and has travelled over 50 countries. Through his travels he has had the opportunity to collect alternative techniques. Not only body experiences but mainly observing different lifestyles, health approaches and rehabilitation procedures that increase his clinical tools. He has been performed his work in the Blue Lagoon (Iceland) offering Watsu sessions and in international spas accommodating guests from all over the world. Gilberto has also helped the community in South America by providing rehabilitation for people with financial difficulties as he also can assist his patients in Portuguese and Spanish.
